The last post has got me all open on Maiden artist Derek Driggs again. He has such a long run of amazing covers for Maiden record it’s bone-jarring. Personally my favorites stretch from the self titled Iron Maiden all the way to Somewhere in time. I’ve included my favorite Maiden cover from back in the day….
Once again Paul D’ianno killin it live with Maiden. I was looking at a clip of Bruce singing Iron Maiden but he was butchering it so I went with Paul again.
Ok I know I’m in the minority here, and Bruce is,without a doubt, THE singer for Iron Maiden, but I prefer Paul DiAnno’s vocals. This video’s got a great audio and the video quality is sweet too. Is it just me or does Paul look like a slightly bloated, English Darby Crash here?
